When Georgia Tech flipped the switch to being an option offense under Paul Johnson, Dwyer hit the gas as a runner. In the 2008 and 2009 season, Dwyer ran for a combined 2,790 yards and 26 touchdowns.
Dwyer finished his career with an average of 6.2 yards per carry.
