5. Andre Williams, Boston College
Hey Y’all, wanna remember Andre 2000? For the first three seasons of his career, Williams was a solid, yet mostly unremarkable ball-carrier for Boston College, running for just over 1,562 yards and 10 touchdowns. However, in 2013, with Steve Addazio now as The Head Dude in Charge at BC, Williams posted a mammoth senior year.
Williams ran for 2,117 yards and an average of 167.5 yards per game, both of which led the FBS that season. Going back to 2000 — Williams is one of only 19 players to run for 2,000+ yards and 10+ touchdowns in the same season. He’s the only ACC player in that span to hit those benchmarks, too.
