19. Don McCauley, North Carolina
During his time in Chapel Hill, McCauley pretty much rewrote North Carolina’s record book. He posted two 1,000-yard rushing seasons, finishing with 3,315 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns.
McCauley 2,021 all-purpose yards in the 1970 season, which is still the program’s single-season record. To this day, McCauley ranks second in UNC history with 5,014 all-purpose yards, behind only Leon Johnson (5,828).
