7. Chris Barclay, Wake Forest
Opponents, including those with superior talent at the point of attack, knew what was coming and still couldn’t stop Barclay. He wasn’t the most imposing or speedy ball-carriers; however, Barclay ran with grace behind Wake Forest’s zone-blocking scheme.
Barclay, who averaged 4.8 yards per carry, is one of only nine ACC players with 4,000+ rushing yards. He’s one of only 13 ACC players with 40 or more rushing touchdowns, too.
