The top undecided recruit of the 2021 basketball class will announce his future school on Wednesday, May 12. Patrick Baldwin Jr., a 5-star forward, will make his decision live at 10:30 a.m. (EST) on SportsCenter, according to ESPN recruiting analyst Paul Biancardi.
Baldwin will decide between Duke, Georgetown and Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where his father is the current head coach.

This particular recruitment has faced plenty of twists and turns. For a period of time, Duke was projected as the favorite to land PBJ. However, that shifted to Wisconsin-Milwaukee over the last year.
Within the last few weeks, though, Duke has made a strong push for Baldwin. Connected or not: Henry Coleman’s recent decision to transfer out to Texas A&M raised a few eyebrows.
All reports seem to indicate that the decision will come down to Duke or Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As of now, there’s no strong consensus which way Baldwin leans. There have been very few leaks throughout the process. Speculation is split.
If Baldwin were to commit to the Blue Devils, it would bump Duke’s 2021 class up to five incoming freshmen â four of which are 5-star/top-20 prospects.

- Paolo Banchero, 5-star PF
- AJ Griffin, 5-star SF
- Trevor Keels, 5-star SG
- Jaylen Blakes, 4-star PG
Griffin started this class for Duke by committing way back in Nov. 2019.
247 Sports ranks Baldwin as the No. 4 overall player in the 2021 class. He’s arguably the top shooter on the prep basketball circuit, too. His commitment would give Duke the No. 1 class in the country.
