Jordan Nwora of Louisville declares for the 2019 NBA Draft

According to a report from Jonathan Givony of ESPN, Louisville sophomore wing Jordan Nwora will declare for the 2019 NBA Draft. Nwora, who was named the ACC’s Most Improved Player in 2019, has left the door open to return to school, though.

As a sophomore, Nwora averaged 17 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. While a solid defensive rebounder, the 6-foot-7 Nwora (26 percent usage rate) is known primarily for his ability to launch from deep, especially off the catch. Nwora made 77 3-pointers this season (37.4 3P%, 53.3 eFG%) — 90 percent of which were assisted on.

Nwora was also named third team All-ACC this season, too. Prior to the 2018-19 season, Nwora was one of my players to watch.

Under first-year head coach Chris Mack, Louisville went 20-14 this season and lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to Minnesota.
