Boston College football players return for voluntary workouts

Boston College football is up next as more and more ACC programs return to campus for voluntary offseason workouts amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

By this point, the majority of ACC teams have at least some number of players and coaches on campus. However, there have already been complications; last week, Clemson made headlines when 23 additional players tested positive for coronavirus.

According to a release from Boston College, all football players, regardless of home state, are required to self-quarantine upon arrival for a maximum of 14 days.

Earlier this month, Boston College hired Patrick Kraft to replace Martin Jarmond — who left for UCLA — as the school’s new athletics director.

The 2020 season will mark the debut campaign for new football coach Jeff Hafley, who replaced Steve Addazio.
