Pittsburgh, Marshall agree to 2-game series

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) – Pittsburgh and Marshall have agreed to a home-and-home football series in 2016 and 2020.

Marshall athletic director Mike Hamrick said Tuesday the Thundering Herd will visit Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on Oct. 1, 2016. The Panthers will play in Huntington on Sept. 26, 2020.

It will mark the first meetings between the schools.
