Pitt RB to miss Saturday’s game at Virginia Tech

According to Pittsburgh’s Week 5 injury report, Panther running back Darrin Hall will be out for Saturday’s game at Virginia Tech with a leg injury. The true freshman running back got his first career start in a Sept. 19 loss at Iowa.

Hall, who was a consensus 4-star prospect coming out of Austintown Fitch High School in Youngstown Ohio, rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries in Pitt’s first three games this season. Redshirt freshman Qadree Ollison and sophomore Chris James will likely carry most of the load in the Pitt backfield with Hall out.
