Pitt’s coaching staff got the ball rolling on the class of 2016 last month when it picked up three commitments in the span of six days. With the spring game coming up on April 18, the Panthers hope to land more pledges, and on April 2, Pitt added another linebacker to its board when tight ends coach Tim Salem offered Elias Reynolds of Brooklyn, New York.
“Just got off the phone with Coach Salem and heard the great news! Blessed to have received an offer from the Pitt Panthers,” Reynolds said on his personal Twitter account.
A consensus 3-star prospect, Reynolds projects as an outside linebacker. He already has the size of collegiate linebacker at 6-3 and 230 pounds.
