Pittsburgh made a significant addition to its 2017 recruiting class on Friday when local safety Paris Ford committed to the Panthers. The Pittsburgh native is the second player in his class to commit to Pat Narduzzi’s team, joining Johnstown, Pennsylvania, defensive back Exree Loe.

According to MaxPreps, Ford has registered 21 tackles, including a sack, and an interception this fall as a junior at Seton-La Salle High School. He is considered the No. 96 overall player in the 2017 class and the No. 3 junior in Pennsylvania.
