Pittsburgh dodged a bullet on Tuesday night when it clawed its way to a 101-96 double-overtime victory over Wake Forest. With the win, the Panthers improved their record to above .500 in ACC play, but a loss could’ve had a far more negative impact.

Whether or not they find themselves as part of the field next month will depend on how the next three-and-a-half weeks play out.
