5-star guard decommits from Pitt

After committing to Pittsburgh 15 months ago, 2016 combo guard Mustapha Heron has reopened his recruitment. The news was first reported by Adam Finkelstein of ESPN.

Heron originally committed to Pitt in January of his sophomore year. As a junior, he averaged 22 points and 5.3 rebounds per game at Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Heron is considered a 5-star recruit by Scout.com.
