Unsurprisingly, this Saturday’s men’s basketball game between Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh has been postponed. This marks the second game this week — along with a previously scheduled matchup vs. North Carolina — that’s been postponed for Virginia Tech.
Of course, the Hokies are dealing with a series of COVID-19 concerns within the program.
With the ACC’s new scheduling policies, this game will hopefully be made up at some point this season.
Virginia Tech last played back on Dec. 22 — a road loss to Duke. Currently, the next game on the schedule for Virginia Tech is a home matchup with NC State on Jan. 4.
Pittsburgh played on Tuesday this week — losing at home to Notre Dame.
Duke basketball is also dealing with a series of positive COVID-19 cases; the program had two of its games postponed this week, too.
