In the weeks since Kevin Stallings left Vanderbilt to replace Jamie Dixon at Pittsburgh, he and his coaches have been extremely busy on the recruiting trail.
The Panthers are facing a major rebuilding situation after the 2016-17 season, as the program will lose at least five scholarship seniors, including Chris Jones, Michael Young, Jamel Artis, Sheldon Jeter and JUCO transfer Jonathan Milligan.
Depending on whether or not the Panthers add any additional scholarship players for 2016-17, Pitt could have as many as 5-6 scholarships available for prospects in the 2017 class.
With that in mind, Stallings and the new Pittsburgh staff are working overtime this spring to establish new recruiting relationships while also trying to compel prospects that Stallings was recruiting at Vanderbilt to now consider the Panthers.
