GG Jackson is in the homestretch of his recruitment. The 5-star forward in the 2023 recruiting class will announce his commitment later this week: Wednesday, April, 27, at 3:30 p.m. est.
Jackson, who plays his prep ball with Columbia (S.C.) Ridge View, will pick between six different entities: North Carolina, Duke, Auburn, Georgetown, South Carolina, UMass and the G League Ignite.

The 6-foot-9, 210-pound Jackson is pegged as at least a slight lean for UNC and Hubert Davis; however, Duke made a strong push as well. South Carolina, the flagship program of his home state, remains in the mix despite firing head coach Frank Martin back in March.
Martin, who resurfaced as the head coach at UMass, ostensibly has the Minutemen in contention to land Jackson, too.
