Tre Jones is in the fold and so is Marvin Bagley III.
Bagley, of course, is coming a year early to play for Duke this season. That makes Jones, the No. 3-rated point guard in his class, the lone 2018 recruit the Blue Devils have secured.
More, of course, have to be on the way.
That’s because, of the seven freshmen on this season’s Duke roster, at least four look like one-and-done players — Bagley, Wendell Carter, Gary Trent, Jr., and Trevon Duval. Jones will step in as Duke’s point guard, replacing Duval under this scenario.
