According to reports from multiple sources, Mark Richt released a statement stepping down as head coach at Miami and ultimately retiring from coaching.
Richt was named head coach of the Hurricanes in December 2015. He was 26-13 in his three seasons as head coach and lead the Hurricanes to the conference championship game in 2017.
