One of the top players in the 2020 class — 5-star combo guard DJ Steward — will take an official visit to Duke this weekend, per a report from Evan Daniels.
A product of Chicago, Steward’s recruitment has been led by Duke associate head coach Jon Scheyer, who also hails from Chicago.

Currently, Duke is in the process of assembling a strong 2020 recruiting class. The Blue Devils already have commitments from two 5-star prospects: forward Jalen Johnson and point guard Jeremy Roach.
Roach took an official visit to Texas last weekend. However, several members of Duke’s coaching staff recently visited Steward up in Chicago, too. Steward has become a priority recruit for the Blue Devils; Duke’s staff likes how Roach and Steward, hypothetically, fit together in the backcourt.
