Dabo Swinney: White House visit “isn’t political”

Fresh off last season’s national championship, Clemson’s Dabo Swinney joined the David Glenn Show Tuesday. The Tigers head coach discussed the team’s upcoming visit to the White House, noting that it will be a celebration of the team.

“This trip isn’t political. It’s not a fundraiser for a certain party or candidate,” Swinney said. “This is a celebration of what our team achieved last year; it’s been a national tradition for a long, long time.”

During the conversation, Swinney also clarified a recent comparison he made between Deshaun Watson and Michael Jordan.
