Earlier this week, Jim Christian and Boston College landed a serious commitment: 4-star shooting guard Demarr Langford. Rated by 247 Sports as the No. 87 overall player in the 2020 class, the 6-foot-4 Langford picked Boston College over several other programs, including NC State.
So happy for my guy DeMarr “Boo” Langford and his commitment to Boston College today. A winner in every way imaginable. One of the finest young men I’ve ever coached. BC got a star of stars. pic.twitter.com/fezpY6PDBN

Langford plays his prep basketball for Wolfeboro (NH) Brewster Academy, a powerhouse program. He took an official visit to Boston College the last weekend in August. Subsequently, he took official visits to NC State and Texas A&M, too. In between his visits to Raleigh and College Station, Kevin Keatts and several staff members went up to visit Langford.

Langford’s recruitment to Boston College was led by ace assistant coach Scott Spinelli. Langford’s older brother — Makai Ashton-Langford — transferred to BC back in July after two seasons at Providence. Both brother will be eligible to play for the Eagles during the 2020-21 season.
