Well, this isn’t going great, you guys. This week’s AP Top 25 Poll is out, and just two ACC teams are denizens of it.
- No. 3 Clemson (up from No. 4)
- No. 16 NC State (up from No. 20)
This further reinforces Clemson’s status as the gold standard for ACC football. The Tigers host the league’s only other current top-25 team next Saturday, and a currently three-score favorites.
Saturday night’s disappointing road loss to Virginia is a tough pill to swallow for Miami; it also knocked the Hurricanes out of the poll — for the first time since 2016. Miami is one of three unranked ACC teams to receive votes.
- Miami (38)
- Duke (17)
- Virginia (2)
Alabama received all but one of the 61 first-place votes in the AP Top 25 with Ohio State receiving the other. See the full poll: https://t.co/jfkE4ZyuKG pic.twitter.com/xoBRpxfPqF
