5-star UNC target Jaden Bradley will transfer to IMG Academy

According to a tweet from his personal Twitter account, Jaden Bradley will transfer from the Cannon School to IMG Academy — a prep basketball powerhouse in Florida.

Bradley, a 5-star point guard in the class of 2022, hails from Concord, North Carolina. The 6-foot-2 Bradley already holds 15 offers, per 247 Sports: Florida State, Florida, Michigan, Kansas and Louisville, among others. However, North Carolina tops Bradley’s list.

247 Sports ranks Bradley as the No. 12 overall prospect in the 2022 and the No. 3 point guard.

Back in February, Bradley visited UNC — the Saturday of the Duke game. Not long after, Roy Williams offered Bradley a scholarship. If Bradley commits to UNC, it would mark the fourth recruiting class, in five cycles, with a 5-star point guard for the Tar Heels: Coby White (2018), Cole Anthony (2019) and Caleb Love (2020).

UNC already has one commitment for its 2021 class: 4-star forward Dontrez Styles, another in-state prospect. Styles was offered a scholarship the same week that Bradley received one, too.

Sophomore power forward/center Armando Bacot played at IMG during the 2018-19 season.
