One of the top guards in the 2019 class — Anthony Harris — set visit dates with multiple ACC basketball teams. The 6-foot-3 combo guard from Virginia, rated as the No. 50 player in the 2019 class, is strongly considering three ACC programs: Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Miami. Boston College has also offered Harris a scholarship, too.
Outside of the ACC, UConn is the most notable program that’s also in the mix. Buzz Williams and Virginia Tech are first on the docket.
ACC Visit Dates for Anthony Harris
Unsurprisingly, Harris will visit these ACC campuses on weekends when those schools have home football games:
- Virginia Tech: Sept. 7-9
- Wake Forest: Sept. 21-23
- Miami: Sept. 28-30
Virginia Tech plays host to William & Mary that weekend; later September, Harris will be in Winston-Salem when the Demon Deacons host Notre Dame. Similar but different: Harris will be in Miami the day after the Hurricanes host North Carolina on a Thursday night.
(Also, a common denominator in these three programs: on offense, all three are proponents of a spread pick-and-roll attack.)
