Matas Buzelis, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, has committed to play for the G League Ignite program for the 2023-24 season.
The 6-foot-9 Buzelis is a 5-star prospect and ranks as one of the Top 10 players in the 2023 recruiting class. Multiple ACC program recruited Buzelis hard, too, including North Carolina, Florida State and Wake Forest.
Five-star recruit Matas Buzelis – the No. 11 player in ESPN’s Top 100 for the Class of 2023 – has committed to the G League Ignite for the 2023-2024 season, sources told ESPN on Friday.

Back in April, North Carolina’s staff met with the family of Buzelis. UNC hoped to add him to a class with two other 5-star prospects: forward GG Jackson and guard Simeon Wilcher.
Buzelis will play his final season of prep basketball (2022-23) with Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas.
