The University of Miami will be on the field darn near every other day during spring practice. And they’ll be out there early.
Now under first-year coach Mark Richt, the Hurricanes will start their spring practice on March 15 and end on April 16 with the spring game at Lockhart Stadium. The game will be aired live on ESPN3. The Hurricanes’ spring game also will be open to the public and will be free for all fans.
Only three times do they have more than two days off in a row.
Of the 15 practices, 12 are at 9 a.m. Besides the April 16 finale, Miami will have scrimmages on April 2 (closed to the public) and April 9 at Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach.
