Plenty of options for Canes to replace Edwards

Miami fans had concerns when Hurricanes running back Gus Edwards sat out of practice and wore a boot. They had good reason to be worried.

The Canes announced on August 30 that the junior Edwards will sit out all of 2015 after suffering a left foot injury during preseason camp. Last season, Edwards ran for 349 yards, 5.7 yards per carry, and scored six touchdowns.[hr]
