Mark Walton was reinstated to Miami’s football team on Monday after the State Attorney’s Office dropped all charges the Hurricane running back was facing.
In April, Walton was suspended indefinitely after he was arrested for DUI and knowingly driving with a suspended license. He no longer faces either charge.
Walton led Miami in touchdowns last season with 10 and accumulated 1,054 all-purpose yards. As a sophomore this season, he’s expected to compete with junior Joe Yearby for the starting spot at running back.
