Hurricanes on solid financial footing — for now

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Even with a difficult economy and struggles on the field, University of Miami football is good business.

Money streams are coming in. Facilities are being renovated or built. Athletes’ needs are being met.

The $ is challenging the U for popularity.

However, one more disappointing season could once again hamstring the Hurricanes financially.[hr]
