Can Miami’s youth movement keep Golden’s job?

Of the 56 players listed on the University of Miami playing rotation/two-deep roster, almost half – 27 – are freshmen or sophomores. That doesn’t include punters, kickers and snappers where there are four more.

That’s why expectations aren’t high and why coach Al Golden is on as hot of a seat as there is in the country.

After a dominant 45-0 opening win over outmatched Bethune-Cookman, the Canes had a dominant second half against Florida Atlantic as they turned a 20-20 tie into a 44-20 win.
