Miami coach Al Golden has traditionally played a large portion of his freshman class each season. If the season-opener against Bethune Cookman is any indication, Golden will try to redshirt about half of this year’s class. Eleven frosh saw the field, and another 11 rated freshmen didn’t. Time will tell how many of Golden’s potential redshirts survive the season with their redshirts intact.
