Three years have passed since Miami took home ACC regular-season and tournament titles, and this season, the Hurricanes are in position to contend for one of the top spots in the conference standings once again. Recently, Miami head coach Jim Larranaga paid a visit to The David Glenn Show, and during the conversation, he discussed not only his own team’s high hopes, but the strength of the league as a whole.

“You could really see seven, eight, nine teams beyond the top three who are very, very good teams who could make a run in the Top 25 in the non-conference that will be battling for a postseason bid,” Larranaga said. “That’s how deep and talented the ACC is right now.”

Larranaga also talked about the many changes within Miami’s athletic department in recent years, the transfers within the program and what this year’s Hurricane team needs to do to be successful.
