Might Clemson press and play more zone this season?

One of the big questions with a lot of college basketball programs this season is how they’ll adjust on both ends of the floor to adjust to multiple new rules around college basketball. The 30-second shot clock, along with multiple new foul rules, will force coaches to become more creative and more flexible in ways to attack opponents offensively, and defend them on the other end.

For Clemson’s Brad Brownell, who has prided himself throughout his coaching career on fielding solid man-to-man defensive squads, that could mean playing more zone defense, as well as potentially pressing more, this coming season.
