Looking back at Clemson’s 2014-15 campaign, it’s easy to think about what could have been.
Toward the end of the regular season, there wasn’t a significant difference between No. 6 in the ACC and No. 11. Six teams were sandwiched in the middle of the conference standings, and the Tigers had a shot at finishing sixth for the second year in a row.
Instead, they lost four of their last five games, finished ninth in the league, dropped their ACC tournament matchup against Florida State and missed out on an NIT bid.
Looking forward to the 2015-16 season, however, it’s hard to imagine Brad Brownell not letting out a sigh of relief.
