Wes Durham of the ACC Network dropped by The David Glenn Show on Monday to discuss this Saturday’s ACC Championship Game, the ascension of UNC football and Larry Fedora’s future in Chapel Hill. During the conversation, the unofficial mayor of the ACC stated that Fedora’s name is one to watch with coaching searches this year.
“His name is going to come up on this carousel,” Durham said. “I think Carolina people know that. I think everybody’s prepared for it.”
Durham stated that he is impressed with the job Fedora has done this season.
“I think one of his great characteristics with this football team right now has been his focus to keep them going week-to-week,” he said. “Again, I’ll say this, as bad as it sounds, I think one of the best things to happen to that football team was losing that first game…Losing that first game may have brought them together in a way that I think many didn’t expect.”
