Clemson starter suffers injury

According to multiple reports, Clemson nickelback Korrin Wiggins suffered an injury in practice on Wednesday. Dabo Swinney told reporters that the injury could be “serious.”

Wiggins started six games as a sophomore in 2014, logging 40 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss. The Durham, North Carolina, also picked off two passes a year ago.

Following spring ball, Wiggins was listed as the starter at strongside linebacker on the team’s depth chart. He is one of only four Tigers to start at least six games on defense last season.
