Clemson O-line suffers another blow

Less than a week after losing backup offensive tackle Joe Gore for at least two games, Clemson’s O-line was once again bitten by the injury bug when center Jay Guillermo broke the little toe in his left foot against NC State. According to coach Dabo Swinney, the injury requires surgery and will keep the sophomore out for at least three weeks.

Before the injury, Guillermo had been rotating with Ryan Norton for snaps at center. Next Saturday the Tigers will face a Louisville team that leads the ACC in total defense, allowing only 230.2 yards per game. The Cardinals also average 3.5 sacks per game.
