According to multiple reports, Clemson picked up its first basketball commitment of the 2017 cycle on Tuesday when shooting guard A.J. Oliver pledged to the Tigers. A native of Central, South Carolina, Oliver is a junior at Daniel High School.
Oliver is one of two players committed to play for the Tigers in the future. Class of 2016 wing Scott Spencer of St. George, Virginia, signed with Clemson last month.
