Austin Ajukwa will transfer from Clemson, head coach Brad Brownell announced Tuesday. Ajukwa played in 55 career games over two seasons, scoring 2.7 points per contest.
“I understand his desire to play a bigger role, but I’m obviously disappointed with the timing of this decision,” Brownell said. “We appreciate Austin’s contributions to our program the past two years and wish him well in the future. We are ready to turn our focus toward the season, beginning with Thursday’s exhibition in Greenville.”
Clemson begins its 2015-16 season with a free exhibition against Lenoir-Rhyne at 7 p.m. Thursday at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
