Just two years after facing one another in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta, Clemson and Auburn have agreed on a home-and-home series starting in 2016, the schools announced Wednesday. The first game will take place at Jordan-Hare Stadium, and the teams will also meet in Death Valley for the 2017 matchup.
Dabo Swinney’s team defeated Auburn 26-19 in the last meeting between the two.
Also on the 2016 nonconference slate for Clemson are South Carolina State, Troy and the annual showdown with rival South Carolina. In 2017, Clemson will host Kent State and The Citadel but will travel to Columbia for the date with the Gamecocks.
