Duke basketball is headed north of the border this week. August may not seem like peak college basketball season, but ball is life, and the Blue Devils have a series of exhibition games set in Canada. Duke starts play this week:
Aug. 15: Duke — Ryerson, 7 p.m.
Aug. 17: Duke — University of Toronto, 6 p.m.
Aug. 19: Duke vs. McGill, 3 p.m.
To talk about the trip and exhibition series, and what it could mean for a talented but youthful Duke roster, Steve Wiseman from the News & Observer and the Durham Herald Sun joined the David Glenn. Wiseman talks about the latest with Coach K, the reason behind the Duke trip and why some players will sit out in Canada.
