On Sunday, Duke football continued to add to its balanced 2021 recruiting class with the commitment of Placide Djungu-Sungu.
Djungu-Sungu is a 3-star safety from Arlington (TX) Martin; he picked the Blue Devils over a dozen other programs, including offers from Utah and Washinton.
The 6-foot, 170-pound Djungu-Sungu ranks as the No. 63 safety in the 2021 recruiting class, according to 247 Sports.
Duke now has 13 commits in its 2021 class, which ranks 57th nationally.
