With recruiting structures looking more normal-ish in college sports these days, NC State football recruiting is a full process.
Late last week, NC State landed 3-star 2022 quarterback MJ Morris, from Atlanta; over the weekend, 3-star defensive end Nick Campbell picked the Wolfpack over West Virginia, Nebraska and Virginia.
For now, NC State’s 2022 class sits at three: Morris, Campbell and 3-star offensive lineman Rylan Vann, a local prospect from Cary. However, that number is about to grow, quickly, it seems.
According to a report from Inside Pack Sports, NC State offered 3-star defensive end Vincent Anthony Jr., who hails from nearby Durham.
IPS INTEL: NC State extended an offer on the first day of camp to Durham (NC) Jordan defensive end Vincent Anthony, who already held 15 offers. How does it impact his recruitment ($)? https://t.co/ecPCIGUfx9

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Anthony plays for C.E. Jordan High School. More than a dozen schools have offered Anthony, including Duke. Anthony is set to take an official visit to Duke later this month, too.
Duke and another ACC program — Georgia Tech — are two of the current leaders for Anthony. Ole Miss is in the mix as well.
Plenty of Ivy League programs are also in on Anthony: Harvard, Penn and Columbia have all offered Anthony.
One of the top 10 in-state prospects in the class will visit NC State this week, too: 4-star linebacker Torren Wright.

A native of Kannapolis, Wright is one of the top 250 prospects nationally; he also rates as the No. 7 overall prospect in North Carolina, per 247 Sports Composite.
Plenty of teams covet the 6-foot-3, 215-pound linebacker; however, a clear top five has been defined. This group includes two ACC programs, two SEC programs and one Big 12 team: NC State, Duke, South Carolina, Kentucky and West Virginia.
With Tony Gibson leading the recruiting efforts, NC State currently projects as the favorite for Wright. There’s a good chance Wright, if things work out, could be the top in-state prospect for the Wolfpack. Although 4-star running back Michael Allen — from Greenville — is right there, too.
South Carolina’s process is led by Shane Beamer.
According to another report from Michael Clark over at Pack Pride: 3-star in-state defensive back Jackson Vick (awesome football name) will visit NC State on Monday, June 7.
The latest visitor on campus for NC State today will be in-state DB Jackson Vick (@jmv__out), one of the Pack’s top defensive targets in the 2022 class.

The 5-foot-11 Vick is a 3-star prospect; 247 Sports rates the Southern Nash prospect as one of the top 75 cornerbacks in the 2022 class.
NC State leads for Vick, too, but it’s early in the recruiting process. East Carolina, Appalachian State Duke and Coastal Carolina have all extended scholarship offers, among others.
