Brevin Jordan is healthy and expected to play this Friday at NC State. This is massive news for Miami and head coach Manny Diaz; Jordan is arguably the top tight end talent in the country.
After missing the last two games with neck/shoulder issues, Jordan’s return could provide a critical boost to Miami’s pass game. Jordan sustained the injury during the loss to Clemson, back on Oct. 10

The Hurricanes and quarterback D’Eriq King threw the ball pretty well in wins against Pittsburgh and Virginia — sans Jordan. However, he’s such a difference-maker in multiple vertical segments of the field. His gravity as a target opens up stuff in other quadrants, which Miami can utilize.
During the first four games of the season, Jordan hauled in 18 receptions (4.5 per game) for 243 yards (13.5 per catch) and three touchdowns.
