After three seasons of superstardom at Louisville, Lamar Jackson wasted little time continuing his ascent in the NFL. Jackson, in only his second NFL season, captured the 2019 MVP trophy — three years after winning the 2016 Heisman Trophy; the Baltimore Ravens quarterback completed 66.1 percent of his pass attempts (7.8 yards per attempt) and threw for a league-leading 36 touchdown passes. Jackson ran for 1,206 yards, too: 6.9 yards per carry, No. 1 in the NFL.
Jackson is the youngest player ever to win the Heisman Trophy and the NFL MVP Award.
Well, to the victor go the spoils. Jackson, 23, will adorn the cover for NFL Madden 21. On Tuesday, EA Sports made things official with a release.
