Two Clemson players change positions

Six practices are in the books for Clemson this preaseason, and so far, two Tigers players have switched positions.

In a Monday release, head coach Dabo Swinney announced that redshirt freshman Gage Cervenka is moving from the defensive line to offensive line.

“Gage came to me yesterday and I believe it is the right move for him,” Swinney said. “We started the process today.  He has the physical toughness and strength to play guard or center for us.”

Earlier in camp, Shadell Bell moved from wide receiver to tight end.
