1. Deshaun Watson, Clemson
Watson ranks fifth in ACC history in total offense (12,094) — behind only Rivers, Jackson, Boyd and Pickett. During his three seasons with the Tigers, Watson threw for 10,163 yards and 90 touchdowns, to only 32 interceptions. He still ranks tops in program history in career completion percentage (67.4 percent), just ahead of Lawrence (66.6 percent).
A two-time winner of the Davey O’Brien Award, Watson led Clemson to back-to-back College Football Playoff appearances. That run (28 wins over his final two years) was crested by leading Clemson to the 2016 National Championship.
