5. Trevor Lawrence, Clemson
Lawrence, one of the top quarterback prospects — both as a prep and a collegian — blazed a trail while at Clemson (2018-2020). As a true freshman, Lawrence powered Clemson to the 2018 national title. That was only one part of his brilliant college career, though.
During his time at Clemson, Lawrence went 34-2 as the Tigers’ starting quarterback; he never lost a regular-season game. Lawrence is the only quarterback to win three ACC Championship Games and ranks third in league history with 90 touchdowns. Lawrence’s career 164.26 pass efficiency mark is a league record, and he is just the sixth player in conference history to throw for 10,000 yards.
