1. Devin Leary, NC State
It was several years in the making, but in his first full season as NC State’s starting quarterback, Devin Leary put together a memorable run.
The New Jersey product completed 65.7 percent of his passes, while ranking inside the top five of the ACC in a variety of passing categories: yards (3,433), yards per game (286.1) and touchdown passes (35). Leary threw only five interceptions all season, too.
His 35 touchdown passes are a single-season program record, too, eclipsing previous passers like Philip Rivers, Russell Wilson and Mike Glennon.
