As we wrap up our three-part feature breaking down this past year’s ACC standings, take a look at some of the league’s bottom feeders, including last place Virginia Tech and others who were near the end of the standings. Naturally, the majority of these schools’ losses were to teams ahead of them in the standings, but all of them managed to beat a few people they weren’t favored to beat.

NOTE: Florida State finished tied with Clemson and Pittsburgh in the ACC standings with 8-10 regular season records. FSU defeated Clemson in both meetings — 62-56 Feb. 4 in Tallahassee, and 58-44 March 12 at the ACC Tournament in Greensboro. The Seminoles split a pair of games with Pittsburgh, losing 73-64 to the Panthers Jan. 14 in the Steel City, and winning 61-52 March 7 in Tallahassee. Overall, FSU was 3-1 in the four contests with the two squads they tied with.
